This animation explores the immersive experience of listening to music and the world we escape to when we put our headphones on.

The audio is a mash up of recordings from my walks around Liverpool, highlighting the unique music created by the everyday sounds we usually tune out with our beloved playlists.

Each frame has been hand-painted and digitally enhanced using Photoshop and After Effects. The result is a visual interpretation of the mental space we enter when we block out the world around us.
